1. After an uneventful journey, we reach Slim River and wonder what's for lunch. We spot a sign up ahead and decide to try out the canteen at - of all places - "Hospital Slim River". We are all such nerds.
2. We finally gather up all the children and we begin our session. They're excited and nervous and shy but eventually we all have our share of fun.
I pass out biscuits later on and a few girls thank me in English.
Sometimes you see things and you just believe that the smallest of gestures can effect change.
3. WCP brings us to a nearby waterfall. The clear water cascading down smooth rock, foaming up at all the right spots... beautiful is hardly the most suitable word. Majestic, amazing, breathtaking - peaceful. The roar of the water drowns the worries of my mind.
4. Random car singalongs are always fun.
5. I look up into the night and i see more stars than i can count.
