of medical students and conferences, day 2

1. I arrive late, but i find nasi lemak waiting for me. Better yet, a little while later, i actually get to be in charge of a walkie talkie!

HELLO HELLO COME IN COME IN OVER ROGER THAT

I've got a walkie talkie slinging from my belt! How awesome is that!
(little things please little minds)

2 The Monash Malaysia bunch plots to steal the kangaroo from the Australian delegation. It doesnt work out, but it was fun to talk about it anyway.

3. The group bonds over the one thing that every country in the world is proud of: its food. It's hilarious having a Korean looking over the Korean stall in the food court, trying to see if the food is authentic or not. I impress him with our roti canai and "oh chien".

4. I take a stroll down the busy streets of Kuala Lumpur by myself; i talk to a taxi driver waiting for his fare, and to a passing Indonesian worker. I take the Monorail and i see the movement, the buzz, the people of the city. I feel like a proper KL city brat, for once.

The city lights are beautiful at night.

HS, how could you ever have thought about not attending this?
